Skindred and many more for Sonisphere

Skindred, and 65daysofstatic are amongst the latest acts announced for this summer's Sonisphere at Hertfordshire's Knebworth House.

Welsh Ragga-Punks Skindred are looking forward to their return to Knebworth, frontman Benji Webbe sayid, "Sonisphere is gonna be massive and so rockin this year! People best be ready for the most metal, messy, mash up moment of the UK's festival in 2 towzen and 10...tell dem Benji Dred said so!!!"

New additions announced for Bohemia are 65daysofstatic, Black Spiders, Sylosis, and a special appearance from ex-Motorhead guitarist Fast Eddie Clark's Fastway.

The first acts have been announced for the new-look Jagermeister stage will play host to Audrey Horne, Throats, Boys With Xray Eyes, The Casino Brawl, March Of The Raptors and Slaves to Gravity.

New additions to the Red Bull Jam Stage are After The Ordeal, Blitz Kids, Fei Comodo, Little Fish, Lower Than Atlantis, Cars On Fire, The Xcerts.

In other news, Alice Cooper has revealed he will be bringing his 'Theatre Of Death' to Sonisphere as part of the Rocky Horror themed party on the Friday. The audio-visual show will see Alice withstand torture, survive death by hanging, impaling, strangulation and all manner of gruesome visuals, while delivering classic standards like 'Hey Stoopid', 'Schools Out' and 'Poison'.

The latest confirmations join the previous announced acts which include headliners Iron Maiden (only UK show of 2010), Rammstein (first ever UK festival appearance), with Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, The Cult, Iggy & The Stooges, Anthrax, Placebo, Papa Roach, and more. Tickets are on sale. Weekend tickets are priced at £132.50, or £157.50 with camping. Lockers are priced at £10, and parking is also £10 in advance or £20 on the day. And early arrival camping entry ticket is priced at £5, and tickets for camper vans are priced at £40.
