T in the Park unveils more acts

and additions to the line-up of new Scottish talent

More additions have been added to the unsigned Scottish acts joining the line-up at the T Break Stage at this July's T in the Park, and several acts have been added to the bill elsewhere.

Today's announcement kicks off with a trio of debut performances for T in the Park 2010. Billy Talent will play Balado for the first time on Sunday on the Radio 1/NME Stage. Daisy Dares You will make her T in the Park debut on the final day of this year's festival playing the King Tuts Wah Wah Tent. American singer-songwriter Lissie will perform on the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Futures Stage on Saturday.

The 16 unsigned Scottish bands selected by the T Break judging panel to perform at T in the Park this July on the T Break Stage are Be Like Pablo, The French Wives, Fridge Magnets, Kitty the Lion, Kobi Onyame, Lightguides, Make Sparks, Mitchell Museum, Mopp, Night Noise Team, Stanley Odd, The Draymin, The Ray Summers, The Seventeenth Century, Three Blind Wolves, and Washington Irving.

Joining them on the bill on Friday 9th July are Matthew P and White Belt Yellow Tag. Saturday has Astral Planes, Sparrow and the Workshop, and Twisted Wheel on the bill and the final day of will see A Band Called Quinn, Alex Gardner, Eliza Doolittle, and Midnight Lion take to the T Break Stage.

They join a line-up that will see over 180 artists playing over 11 stages with headliners Kasabian, Muse and Eminem joined by Black Eyed Peas, Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Dizzee Rascal, Faithless, Florence And The Machine, Jay-Z, Madness, Jamie T, Paolo Nutini, Stereophonics, The Prodigy, The Temper Trap, The View, Vampire Weekend, and more.
