DJ Format, Midfield General, and Tubelord are amongst the final acts confirmed for Macmillan's Brick Lane Takeover in East London.

DJ Format
Heading up the DJ venue at the Brick Lane Takeover (BLT) will be DJ Format, and also appearing will be Midfield General, and blondeambitiondjs.

Completing this year's line-up are Tubelord, Sound Of Guns, Jamie Ley, King Jim,Hungry Kids of Hungary, 26, and Lost On Campus.

XFM's John Kennedy and BLT curator said, "It's great to see a charity reaching people with music – Macmillan's Brick Lane Takeover has very quickly established itself as the place to see some of the best up and coming bands just as they break. I've really loved working on this event as curator and I know the bands on the night will not disappoint."

Macmillan Cancer Support will once again take over Brick Lane in East London on Thursday 17th June when the second run of its new music event will welcome 2000 music enthusiasts from 5.30pm through to the early hours. The latest additions to the line-up join Eliza Doolittle, Kill It Kid, Three Trapped Tigers, Cosmo Jarvis, Beatbullyz, The Paris Riots, Tim and Sam's Tim and the Sam Band with Tim and Sam, Allo Darlin', Hoodlums, Shackletons, Erland and the Carnival, Goldheart Assembly, Little Comets, Treetop Flyers, Clock Opera, and more. Bands and venues have come together for Macmillan and waived fees to enable this event to happen. Goldheart Assembly commented, "Love Macmillan, love Brick Lane - we can't wait to perform for such an important cause that affects so many of us."

Spitalfields will host live music during lunch time starting at 12.30pm and activities throughout the day including free Benefit 'Brick Lane Makeover's', cake stalls and a hog roast.

Tickets are priced at £20 with all proceeds going to help Macmillan continue to provide vital services which help make a real difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.
