Bollocks to Poverty, the youth arm of anti-poverty charity ActionAid, is looking for someone to spread the Bollocks to Poverty message backstage at this year's Reading Festival.

Through the Work it! competition, one lucky winner can live the dream of being an intrepid backstage reporter interviewing bands like Gun's n' Roses, Arcade Fire, LCDSoundsystem and the Klaxons. They will also need to be passionate and articulate about spreading the anti-hunger word - because it will also be their job to get the musicians they interview on board with the campaign.

The ideal candidate should be brimming with confidence and totally comfortable about approaching famous people. Applicants are invited to enter the competition by making a video of themselves - showing just how gutsy and up for it they are. The winner will need to be available to be part of the Bollocks to Poverty team during the Reading Festival 2010 during August 27th, 28th, 29th. Find out more about the competition here.

Competitors must be aged between 18-25 on 1st August 2010 and ActionAid will announce the winner on 12th August, with the deadline for applications Monday 26th July.

Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire, and Blink 182 headline the twin festivals. Also appearing on the main stage over the weekend are special guests The Libertines on Saturday. The line-up also includes Queens Of The Stone Age, Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets, Nofx, Gogol Bordello, Billy Talent, Dizzee Rascal, The Cribs, Modest Mouse, The Gaslight Anthem, Paramore, Weezer, Cypress Hill, Limp Bizkit, You Me At Six, All Time Low, LCD Soundsystem, Phoenix, Mumford & Sons, Delphic, Yeasayer, The Big Pink, Two Door Cinema Club, Pendulum, Enter Shikari, Crystal Castles, Frank Turner, Klaxons, We Are Scientists, Foals, Band Of Horses, Kele Okereke (Bloc Party), and The Drums.

There are still lots more names to be announced as well as the full line up for the Lock-Up Stage, Dance Stage, Festival Republic Stage, BBC Introducing Stage and the Alternative Stage. More announcements will follow soon.

The festivals will feature a full line-up of over 150 acts over the weekend on six stages. For the line-up details, stage splits, days where available, and the latest rumours please click here for Reading and here for Leeds.

Tickets were priced at £180 for a weekend ticket and have sold out. Day tickets for Friday and Sunday at Leeds, and Friday at Reading are still available. There are also early bird Wednesday entry and coach tickets available. Day tickets are priced at £75.

Festival organisers are warning ticket buyers to NOT use the site www.reading-leedsfestival.com it is a fake ticket seller. Make sure any tickets you buy are legitimate. eFestivals always links to official ticket outlets (and doesn't host adverts for unofficial outlets unlike other festival websites!) so you can be sure that any ticket bought via eFestivals will get you into the festival of your choice. Do not purchase tickets from unofficial or secondary ticket outlets or auction sites as they often are unable to supply the tickets, and might not even give you a refund - there's lots of dodgy operators out there!

Children under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please note there is no separate children's area at this event, and eFestivals considers this an event not really suitable for small children.

As with previous years organisers Festival Republic are keen to encourage festival goers to respect the local residents and the environment, and to encourage everyone to leave their cars at home.

Reading Festival takes place on the bank holiday weekend, from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th August at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, with the sister event, Leeds Festival, taking place the same weekend at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
