The website has had to go offline because the server it is hosted on has had a major failure. Organisers are trying to get a new one built as quickly as they can, and of course they're not happy, given the timing of the failure.

Organisers want to make it clear that the festival isn't suffering from any other problems, and the festival will be happening as expected.

Although ticket purchasers are unable to buy tickets from the website, they are still available to purchase on Seetickets. Tickets are priced at £100 for an adult weekend, or £110 weekend with camping. Children between 12 and 16 years old tickets are priced at £50 for the weekend, £60 for weekend with camping. N.B. Children between 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 12 have free entry with a ticket holding adult. Campervan tickets are priced at £60.

Day tickets are available Friday adult tickets are priced at £40, Saturday or Sunday tickets are priced at £45. Kids tickets are priced at £30 for each of the three days.

GuilFest is known for its huge variety of music – this year, headlining the festival on the main stage, are Orbital, The Human League, and Status Quo, whilst elsewhere on the site you can catch acts as diverse as N-Dubz, Hawkwind, Tinie Tempah, The Blackout, Dreadzone, Level42, The King Blues and many more. For the full line-up details to-date, please click here.

All around the site this year there are new and exciting areas such as The Ceroc Dance Tent, and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage Cafe & workshops, combined with GuilFest favourites such as the 70s Disco, Farmer Giles Barndance, The Backline Live Acoustic Lounge and much more!

All this, combined with impromptu street performances, magicians, food and drink from around the world, great stalls, cocktail bars, The Pimms Bus and a massive 150 foot bar, goes to create one of the most laid back and friendly vibes of any festival ever. There is even Guildford Lido for outdoor swimming and showers, and Guildford Spectrum leisure centre for indoor swimming and various other activities right next door top the festival site.

The Campsite opens in under an hour this morning, with the main site opening at 10am on Friday Morning. Tonight in the campsite there's a special pre-festival bar and disco!

Anyone seeking more information about the event, is asked to post their questions on our GuilFest forum (click here), and we'll try our best to answer your queries.
