Health added to Brainwash Festival V

Health have been announced as a secret guest for Leeds' The Brainwash Festival happening this weekend.

Health are confirmed for Saturday's midnight Slot at the event which returns for a fifth year to the Brudenell Social Club, and the Royal Park Cellars from Friday 22nd October until Sunday 24th October. The band will join swelling line up after their Crystal Castles gig alongside Chickenhawk, Melt Banana, Shining, Castrovalva, and around 40 bands playing over the course of the weekend. Tickets are priced at £20 for a 3 day weekend tickets, with day tickets priced at £5 for Friday, and £10 for either Saturday or Sunday. To buy tickets, click here. This is an over 18 event.

The festival always has a charity element each year, raising money for the likes of Oxfam and Sheffield Children's Hospital in the past few years. This year Brainwash are in the process of setting up a teaching program with local musicians, aiming to provide free music lessons to those young people who would normally struggle to get any.
