The Phantom Band lead the acts to complete the line-up for next month's Brainwash Festival.

Also confirmed today are Paul Thomas Saunders, Shoes and Socks Off, Shuriken, More Than Conquerors, These Blue Arms, Aviaries, Heart-Ships, Maggie8, and Memo.

They will join the likes of Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Sam Airey, Howard James Kenny, Circles, Wot Gorilla?, The Icarus Line, Maybeshewill, Lite, Marble Valley, Lite, Kong, Dananananakroydand Mojo Fury, and more at the sixth Brainwash Festival which returns to the Brudenell Social Club, and the Royal Park Cellars, in Leeds for three days this year from Friday 14th until Sunday 16th October 2011.

The line-up now looks like this:

Saturday: The Icarus Line, Lite, Maybeshewill, Kong, &U&I, Shapes, Young Liar, Cowtown, NGOD, Juffage, Blacklisters, Mojo Fury, Circles, Howard James, Kenny, Sam Airey, Wot Gorilla?, Bearfoot Beware, Idea Shower, Mahogany Handglider, Aviaries, Heart-Ships, Maggie8, Memo.
Sunday: The Phantom Band, Paul Thomas Saunders, Let's Buy Happiness, Echo Lake, Marble Valley (Steve West from Pavement), Tubelord, People In Jars, Humanfly, Trio Vd, Arthur Rigby & The Baskervylles, Blood Oranges, Antlered Man, False Flags, Hunting Bears, Shields, A-Sun Amissa, Super Luxury, Shoes & Socks Off, Shuriken, Cave Birds.

The festival always has a charity element each year, raising money for the likes of Oxfam and Sheffield Children's Hospital in the past few years. This year Brainwash are in the process of setting up a teaching program with local musicians, aiming to provide free music lessons to those young people who would normally struggle to get any.
