eFestivals can exclusively reveal the first acts for next year's 3-day camping festival Endorse It In Dorset 2011.

Dub Pistols
Dub Pistols, Pronghorn, The Wurzels, Banco de Gaia, and The Cropdusters are the first five headline acts to be released for Endorse It 2011.

Joining them across six stages will be hoedown ska merchants The Boot Hill All Stars, Westcountry cider fuelled hip-hop trio Inbredz, and punk thrashings from P.N.U.K..

New for 2011 will be the programming of Gail's Something Else Tea Tent – joining those ladies in corsets will include classy acoustics from the multi-talented Dan Days, grooves from local singer/songwriter Al O'Kane and surprise collaborations by artists playing this year. Plans are also afoot to increase the size of after hours venue and hostelry Rock the Bus Bar.

"We've got loads of great plans for Endorse it 2011", says Flounder - one of Endorse It's organisers, "however after the success of last year we won't be changing things too much and improving on what we've got – The Bus Bar and Gail's are certainly undergoing exciting changes. We're especially pleased to welcome back The Cropdusters on their 25th Anniversary Tour."

The family friendly festival is held from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th August 2011 on Dorset's Cranborne Chase an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the festival has a true rural Westcountry feel.

Early bird tickets are no longer available. Tickets at 2011 prices will be available soon, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

This will be EiiD's 8th year with the festival going from strength to strength from its humble beginnings in a barn in Dorset. Brainchild of top Dorset Cowpunk band Pronghorn (the band themselves still play a key role in running the festival), Endorse-it has a classic 'old school' festival vibe.

eFestivals is pleased to again sponsor Endorse-It In-Dorset which it has supported from it's beginning. This is part of eFestivals' commitment to put 10% of our turnover back into festivals, making festivals better for us all.
