eFestivals can exclusively reveal the second wave of acts for this summer's 3-day camping festival Endorse It In Dorset 2011.

UK Subs
We're happy to announce that EiiD will be hosting UK Subs, The Members featuring Rat Scabies, The Bus Station Loonies, The Toasters, The Vibrators, and a rare live appearance by sleazy Tattooed Beat Messiahs, '80s rockers, Zodiac Mindwarp and The Love Reaction.

Joining them across six stages ware the previously announced Dub Pistols, Pronghorn, The Wurzels, Banco de Gaia, and The Cropdusters are the first five headline acts to be announced. Joining them across six stages will be The Boot Hill All Stars, Inbredz, P.N.U.K., Dan Days, and Al O'Kane, with more to be announced. Expect a line-up of acts from up-and-coming local bands and Dorset favourites to international stars plus some DJs offering a mixture of ska, dub, punk and more. The entertainment will once again be weather-proof, with three main tented stages.

The family friendly festival is held from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th August 2011 on Dorset's Cranborne Chase an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the festival has a true rural Westcountry feel.

Endorse It In Dorset are also saying a fond farewell to Potts who was in charge of their in-house ticketing system. His departure has led to an overhaul of the whole system with regard to ticket sales. With rising prices in general, costs have gone up, so ticket prices have to follow suit. Organisers didn't want was to go to a main ticket agency and have them add a large booking fee.

So a lot of time and effort has been spent sussing out agencies, which ones were ethical, where the money goes etc and they are very nearly there. EiiD is aiming for tickets to go on sale in mid February along with the announcement of their Saturday headliner. ticket prices will be announced, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

This will be EiiD's 8th year with the festival going from strength to strength from its humble beginnings in a barn in Dorset. Brainchild of top Dorset Cowpunk band Pronghorn (the band themselves still play a key role in running the festival), Endorse-it has a classic 'old school' festival vibe.

eFestivals is pleased to again sponsor Endorse-It In-Dorset which it has supported from it's beginning. This is part of eFestivals' commitment to put 10% of our turnover back into festivals, making festivals better for us all.
