For the 15th year running T Break is on the hunt once again for the best new talent in Scotland. Any unsigned musical act is eligible to enter T Break, provided they are resident in Scotland, over the age of 18 and performing original material.

All submissions must be entered by Monday 11th April 2011 and will be heard by the T Break judging panel of industry experts, from DF Concerts, and PRS who will then select the line-up for the T Break Stage.

George Kyle, Head of Sponsorship at Tennent's says, "The response to T Break 2010 was extremely impressive with nearly 1400 demos received, giving our panel of industry experts a huge variety of music to choose from and narrow down to the successful 16 acts. There's so much great new talent here in Scotland and Tennent's are delighted to continue to support Scotland’s grassroots music scene through T Break."

In 2011, Tennent's have also formed a brand new Partnership with STOW College in Glasgow to provide one student from the Music Business Course an exclusive internship within the T Break team, working directly on the delivery of T Break from March to August.

David Hughes, Head of Dept, School of Creative Industries said, "STOW College are proud to be working with T Break on this exciting initiative. Projects of this kind nurture local talent and demonstrate T Break's commitment to the development of a dynamic Creative Industry in Scotland."

16 bands will then be invited in May to play on the T Break Stage at T in the Park on Friday 8th until Sunday 10th July where they will share a bill with The Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Coldplay and many more T in the Park acts that have still to be announced.

All entrants need to visit www.tennents.com/tbreak for full details on how to submit their work. Musicians can upload their demos via the website, or alternatively they will find instructions on how to make a postal submission.
