Roots Manuva have been confirmed to headline Fiesta in the Park a one day festival, held at South Park, Oxford on Saturday 2nd July 2011, an evening celebration of music, dance and Summer fun for all the family.
Roots Manuva have been confirmed as headlining a line-up of nationally renowned world, reggae and carnival bands including Brassroots, with Oxford's Count Skylarkin also confirmed to appear on decks.
All the proceeds from Fiesta In The Park will go to Cowley Road Works charity to help secure the Cowley Road Carnival for this and future years. A full 20% of every booking fee is donated back to Fiesta in The Park to help support support Cowley Road Carnival in Oxford.
Stuart Allen, Cowley Road Works trustee and Programme Director for Fiesta in The Park which will happen from from 4.30pm until around 10:30pm said, "Fiesta in The Park is growing as an outdoor music event in its own right. The night before Carnival, it's a great way for everyone to get into the Carnival mood with a spectacular summer's night of great vibes from a line-up of international and Oxford artists. All of the proceeds will to go the Cowley Road Works charity to help secure the Carnival for this and future years."
Tickets are available now, the price for an adult ticket is £10, Concessions/Students and Youth (aged 12-16 years) tickets are priced at £8. Children aged 12 years and under attend free with an adult but organisers ask for a £1 donation. To buy tickets, click here.
