Liverpool act Cast will be appearing at the event as part of their fifteenth anniversary tour of the renowned album 'All change'.

The news follows the announcement that The Stranglers, will headline Friday night's festivities.

Roy Thain, Wizard Festival director said, "We knew last year would be a hard act to follow but we think we have got the mix just right this year. As always we have tried to book acts that will have a wide appeal and that we know fans really want to see. We will be making sure that there is something for everyone and we're delighted that even in our fifth year we are still bringing great bands to perform in the North east of Scotland."

The Wizard Festival, now in its fifth year, takes place at the New Deer Show Ground near Peterhead and Fraserburgh, North East Scotland, on August bank holiday weekend and will be held on the weekend of Friday 26th and Saturday 27th August 2011.

Held on a huge site with a natural amphitheatre and surrounded by some of Scotland's best scenery, Wizard is less than 30 miles from Aberdeen city centre. The festival has three stages, a two day children's programme and camping and car parking facilities. The site also has a campervan and caravan arena.

Keen to build on its family friendly atmosphere Wizard also has a separate family camping area and children aged 12 and under attend the festival for free.

Roy continued, "We pride ourselves in the fact that Wizard is accessible to everyone, young and old and everyone else in between. This year we are putting extra effort into the children's and young people's programme because we want to make sure that families have plenty to do over the weekend of the event."

Tickets are priced at £75 including camping & parking, and £50 for a Saturday only day ticket. To buy tickets, click here.
