'Crazy In Love' singer Beyonce, one of the best-selling artists of all time with over 75 million worldwide album sales as a solo artist alone, has been announced for Scotland's T in the Park and Ireland's Oxegen.
Beyoncé's most recent multi-platinum album, 'I am... Sasha Fierce', includes her anthem 'Single Ladies' and 'If I Were A Boy'. The album won Beyoncé six Grammy Awards, the most for any female artist in a given year, bringing her total to 16.
Oxegen's Festival Director John Probyn commented, "We're always striving to bring the biggest and best music talent to Oxegen and they really don't come any bigger than Beyonce. She is a truly incredible artist and an amazing live performer. This year we've got most of the artists headlining the UK's major festivals on one bill - it's all about giving fans real value for money and delivering an unforgettable experience."
Beyoncé takes the stage at T in the Park on Saturday 9th July. T in the Park is held over the weekend of Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July at Balado, in Scotland and will present over 180 artists playing over 11 stages with headliners Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, and The Foo Fighters, joined by 2ManyDJs, Beady Eye, Pulp, All Time Low, Death Crew77, Blondie, Bright Eyes, Cast, Chase & Status, Crystal Castles, Deadmau5, Diplo, Eels, Eliza Doolittle, Friendly Fires, House of Pain, Hurts, Imelda May, Jessie J, Jimmy Eat World, Josh Wink, KT Tunstall, Kei$ha, Manic Street Preachers, Miles Kane, My Chemical Romance, Noah and the Whale, Ocean Colour Scene, Plan B, Slam, Stornoway, The Saturdays, The Script, Tinie Tempah, Tom Jones, The Vaccines, Vitalic, You Me At Six, Weezer, and White Lies. Tickets for T in the Park have sold out, and organisers strongly advise fans not to buy tickets from any unofficial sources or website auctions, as not only will they have to pay over the odds but there is a high chance that the ticket will not exist or will be a fake. Tickets are priced at 199.50 for a 3 day NO camping ticket or 224.50 with camping. For an extra 20 fans can purchase a 4 day ticket including camping which includes the Thursday also. A campervan ticket is priced at 60 (must be purchased with a 3 or 4 day camping ticket). Day tickets for Friday or Saturday are priced at 99.50.
