With less than two weeks to go until the 10th anniversary of Scotland's The Wickerman Festival, organisers have added The Pigeon Detectives, Nashville duo ChessBoxer and Glasgow-based Kings Of Macumba to the Summerisle Stage line-up.br />

The Hostiles, More From Jim, Bombskare, Billy Liar, The Roaches, Lady Winwoods Maggot, and Cartoon Violence complete the Scooter Tent line-up.

Whilst showcase winners Fatherson, and The Fiction will open the Solus Tent on Friday and Saturday respectively. The showcase events were held at Box in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, which is a sponsor of the Solus Tent.

Festival coordinator Helen Chalmers said, "We're delighted to welcome even more talented acts to this year's Wickerman Festival. These additions, from indie favourites The Pigeon Detectives to folk duo ChessBoxer, demonstrate just why we have one of the most eclectic festival offerings in the UK."

Feeder, The Coral, Echo & The Bunnymen, Noisettes, The Hoosiers, Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club (DJ Set), The Damned, From The Jam, Utah Saints, Riva Starr, The Bluebells, Matthew And The Atlas, The Dangleberries, Spunge, King Kurt, X-Press2, Dan O Donnell, Sonny Wharton, Krafty Kuts, Meat Katie, Peo De Pitte, Middle Finger Salute, Rachel Sermanni, Dot JR, Jack Townes, Dam Mantle, Bear Bones, and more.

There are many more to be announced across ten stages at East Kirkcarswell Farm in Dumfries & Galloway and takes place from Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd July, 2011.

Tickets are priced at £90 including camping and car parking. Concessions (13-15 years old) will be priced £45 for a limited time and will only be available online. Children under 13 go free.Caravan/campervan tickets are an additional £30 with a further £50 to this ticket price for an electrical hook up.

Everyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and bring proof of age - anyone without proof of ID will be liable to pay the full adult ticket price at the gate. We also recommend anyone who looks under 21 to bring ID with them. The ages shown on the tickets refer to the age of the child/concession on the day of the festival (not the age at time of purchase).
