last chance for Isle of Wight Festival's pre-sale tickets

Today at midday, the presale of tickets to Isle of Wight Festival will end. There's only a few hours left to purchase tickets at 2011 prices and make use of the staged payment plan.

The festival has moved into the fallow Glastonbury Festival weekend for one year only. The dates for the eleventh Isle of Wight Festival have been announced as from Friday 22nd until Sunday 24th June 2012.

The festival now in it's eleventh year, takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight with a larger capacity this year of 90,000. The festival has a large main stage in a natural amphitheatre that showcases well known rock and indie names, a legendary act or two, and rising stars, in a relaxed festival atmosphere. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012.

Ferry companies Wightlink and Red Funnel are selling ticket and ferry packages until noon today also. Last year tickets for the festival sold out. Normal ticket sales at 2012 prices will resume later this year.

Tickets are priced at £175 for adult camping, and £87.50 for a child ticket (aged 7 to 12 years). The price of an adult ticket without camping will be £150 and £75 for children (aged 7 to 12 years). All children 6 years old and under on 22nd June 2012 can go for free but must still have a ticket. A campervan permit will be priced at £90 (all occupiers must also have a valid Camping ticket)

Every person attending the festival must purchase a ticket. This includes babes in arms.

All Special Needs customers should call Ticket Zone on 0844 499 9955 to purchase tickets. If you are registered disabled your carer is entitled to a free ticket, you need to make Ticket Zone aware of this when you make your purchase.

For the first time this year a staged payment option has been introduced. This option allows festival goers to purchase your ticket at the 2011 price but to pay by installments spread out over a period of 5 months in total.The first payment of £50 is taken when the ticket is booked. The second payment of £50.00 will be taken automatically on 30th January 2012, and the final payment of £75 will be taken automatically on 30th March 2012.

It's also the final few hours to buy Isle of Wight Festival tickets and ferry travel on a payment scheme. Festival goers are able to secure tickets and ferry travel paying just 50% now and the remaining 50% on or before 30th January 2012. Adult tickets including return foot passenger start from £178.70, paying £89.35 now and £89.35 in January 2012.
