The godfather of theatrical rock will take to the stage for his only UK festival appearance of 2012 on Sunday alongside fireworks, mock executions, simulated sex (with the dead of course), snakes, monsters and zombies, and hits from his decades long back catalogue including 'Schools's Out', 'No More Mr Nice Guy', 'Welcome To My Nightmare', 'Hey Stoopid', 'Feed My Frankenstein' and recent single 'I'll Bite Your Face Off'.

Festival booker Vicky Gregory commented, "As Bloodstock organisers but more importantly Huge fans of Alice Cooper, we are thrilled to have such an iconic artist close proceedings on the Sunday night! We have been after Alice for a number of years and are extremely excited to see him grace the Ronnie James Dio stage and guarantee this will be a performance not to be missed."

Cooper joins a line-up that includes the previously confirmed Dimmu Borgir, Hatebreed, Corrosion Of Conformity, Anaal Nathrakh, Watain, Paradise Lost, Anvil, Orange Goblin, and Doomed. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Early bird tickets are on sale until 15th December, priced at £95 for adults, and car parking, child (aged 4 - 11 years), day tickets, and campervan passes are expected to be on sale at a later date. To buy tickets, click here.
