Early bird tickets are on sale for Cockermouth Rock Festival or 'CockRock' as it's affectionately named by festival goers.
Now in its 8th year the festival returns from Friday 20th until Sunday 22nd July at Wellington Farm, Cockermouth.
The team behind the well established festival are promising improvements across the whole site next year. Chairman Clint Stamper said, "The whole team is really looking forward to CockRock 2012, we have taken onboard our fans comments from last year and we are now starting plan and make some positive changes. We have some very exciting ideas and developments in store and more will become clear over the next couple of months."
There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012. The facilities include a quieter camping field aimed at families, as well as workshops. Expect also a professional BBQ on site, plus many stalls, food outlets, extra bars as well as many events for all the family. These include a Bouncy Castle, Rodeo Bull, Gladiator Duals and more.
The festival is a non profit event set up to help raise money for two local causes, the Cockermouth Mountain Rescue and The Pride of Cumbria, as well as to encourage and promote local bands and musicians.
Early bird adult tickets are priced at £40, other ticket options are not yet available. To buy tickets, click here.
