early bird tickets on sale for Magic Loungeabout 2012

Early bird tickets are now on sale for The Magic Loungeabout returning in July 2012 to build upon the previous two events.

Next year will see the festival expand with a new stage, more acts, more speakers and bigger capacity. There will also be more fun for kids and adults from Bearded Kitten, and a host of visual arts on display too.

Simon Adamson, the festival's director, said, "It's great to be making our first full announcement as we look ahead to the summer. This year was a great success, so we are augmenting the festival across all areas whilst retaining the spirit and ethos of The Magic Loungeabout, which resonated so strongly with everyone. There was lots of brilliant feedback, which we have listened to and will be implementing. It's a really exciting time for everyone involved with the festival - I can't wait for us to be back!"

The new additions include a brand new forest stage featuring pop up acoustic sessions and fringe theatre, and promises twice as many pop and acoustic acts and three times as many speakers including 'anecdotal legends to inspiring heroes'.

Bearded Kitten will also be providing even more entertainment, fun and games for kids and adults during the festival. Despite the growing programme, the organisers have chosen to increase the capacity by only 1000 to help retain the carefully cultivated intimacy and escapism of the festival held again at Broughton Hall, Skipton, in Yorkshire from Friday 27th until Sunday 29th July 2012. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012.

Early bird tickets offer a 20% discount, and all tickets include a free programme and free parking. An adult early bird ticket is priced at £89.60 and includes camping. Kids must be 12 years or younger on the 27th July 2012 to qualify for a free ticket which they must have for entry. A campervan ticket is priced at £20. To buy tickets, click here.

When ordering tickets festival goers are asked to select their camping choice for the weekend, they are:
The View: the highest point on site giving views over the arena.
The Brook: the most tranquil spot and is only available to those purchasing one of the luxury tent packages, which will be on sale before the end of the year.
The Family area: will away from the noise of the arena and is strictly for families only.
The Party zone is for those wanting to stay up all night and make merry, it will be noisy.
