Adam Ant And The Good The Mad And The Lovely Posse lead the latest acts to be announced for the Apple Cart Festival which takes place at Victoria Park, London. Due to the London 2012 Olympics, the festival has moved to a new date for 2012, and will now take place over the Diamond Jubilee, June bank holiday on Sunday 3rd June 2012.
In addition to the music acts, The Apple Cart hosts the return of the magic tent, with magicians performing including several members of The Magic Circle - compered by Richard Pinner, and will feature Alan Hudson, Andy Boughtflower, Christian Lee, David Weeks, Oliver Tabor, and Piff the Magic Dragon.
Returning to The Apple Cart will be the Penguin Books tent. For children and adults alike, children's books characters and old favourites will come to life on the stage in interactive storytelling events. Come and say Happy 110th Birthday to Peter Rabbit, meet Spot the Dog or relax in the specially created Penguin Books library. There will also be chances to win a host of Penguin goodies.

Combining music, comedy, art, cinema, magic, The Apple Cart is a diverse festival that welcomes everyone to it's kaleidoscopic, colourful playground, designed to bring out the kid that's hidden in us all. From the people behind Field Day and Underage festivals this festival of ideas adopts a melting pot ethos, presenting London with a multi-disciplinary take on the festival experience: no other event in the capital has Turner prize winners and world class magicians and burlesque stars sit happily alongside arena-filling comedians and established music legends all on the same bill, on the same day.
An adult ticket is priced at £29.50, with children aged under 14s and under able to attend for free (but still need a ticket). To buy tickets, click here.
