The first acts have been announced for Posivitus Festival which takes place in Salacgriva, Northern Latvia on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July 2012.

Friendly Fires
The 40,000 capacity Posivitus is the largest music festival in Baltics and the two day festival offers festival goers a varied programme of international bands, and up coming European acts. The festival also offers other activities besides the main stages - theatre, cinema, plenty of food and drink vendors, and circus.

The first acts confirmed are Friendly Fires, SBTRKT, Ewert and the Two Dragons, Givers, Jamie N Commons, Lucy Rose, Vondelpark, and Cashier no 9.

Tickets are on sale priced at 47 euros (approx £40) with camping or 42 euros (approx £35) without camping. To buy tickets, click here.

The festival aims to appeal to all European festival goers and offers camping and is only 100 km from Riga by via the Baltica highway E67 and approximately 15km from Estonian border, and 70km from Estonia's liveliest summer resort town Parnu. Riga is also the nearest airport.
