Eastern Electrics finds new home at Area 12

Dance festival Eastern Electrics Festival set to take place on Saturday 4th August 2012 has found a new London home at Area 12, Greenwich Peninsular, in London's Docklands.

The London club brand announced their new 10,000-capacity one day festival in March and tickets have been selling well for the event which was due to be hosted on Clapham Common, in London.

Area 12 is set in its own grounds, around five minutes' walk from North Greenwich tube and the O2 complex. The venue has a huge main stage and is built around a huge man-made structure with shipping containers at its core to dampen the sound levels on this urban site.

The space is a fenced outdoor storage area and overfill car park, and will also house four tents of underground electronic music from Eastern Electrics and its favourite brands.
