Blissfields has announced that multi-platinum-selling Charlotte Church will be making "a very special appearance" to make her most intimate festival performance ever, to to showcase a raft of new material with a full band.

Organizers have said they are "delighted when Charlotte approached us to preview new material at the event. We've always upheld the belief that Blissfields should be a place for all kinds of music, both emerging and established, and we know she'll put on a quality show that everybody will enjoy. We’ve already confirmed pretty much all of our bill, but found a way to make this work – and of course we’re really excited by the announcement."

Also newly confirmed is 12 year old local girl Lauren Thalia.

They join the line-up which includes Noisettes will headline the Saturday night, whilst Patrick Wolf will play a special acoustic performance. Also appearing are Guillemots, Dog Is Dead, Clock Opera, Eugene McGuinness, NZCA/Lines, Theme Park, Toy, The Wave Pictures, Pete Roe, SixNationState, Josh Kumra Official, Spector, Lucy Rose, Man Like Me (live), Dreadzone, Cashier no 9, Charli XCX, Toddla T, Crazy P, Passenger, AlunaGeorge, Skinny Lister, C90s, Ridney, Fleetwood Bac, Beans on Toast, Imperial Leisure, Subgiant, The Mini Band, Arp Attack, and many more. Music takes place across five stages: The main open air stage; The Bradley Bubble a Big Top Stage offering mixed entertainment including local acts, open mic and after hours fun; Tractor Disco Stage (DJs) – An open air carnival on a tractor trailer for all day frivolity; The Hidden Hedge - a secluded hideaway in the woods, with chilled atmosphere and secret appearances/performances; and The Campfire which offers acoustic, DIY, and other entertainment.

Blissfields takes place at Woodmancott, in Hampshire from Thursday 29th June to Sunday 1st July 2012.

An adult ticket is priced at £74 for the weekend with camping, £49 for those aged 6-15 for the weekend with camping, children aged under 6 are free, there is no separate tariff for those not camping. No under 16's to camp unless accompanied by an over 21 years of age. Campervan tickets are priced at £35, and Thursday camping is an additional £16. There will be a £10 charge made on arrival for all vehicles, excluding those with valid campervan/caravan pass.

Weekend Family Tickets (2 Adult & 2 Youth weekend tickets) are priced at £210, and a weekend 10 adult tickets for the price of 9 offer is priced at £666. Day Tickets will be on sale at a future date.
