New confirmations for this summer's family friendly GuilFest this week include a special acoustic set from alt. rockers The Wonder Stuff on The Good Time Guide Stage, and the return of Reggae Reggae sauce creator Levi Roots on The Vive Le Rock Stage, plus some news of kids entertainment happening over the weekend of Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July 2012.

GuilFest's childrens area The Kidzone which is aimed solely at under 12's, this year will feature children's theatre, as well as VIP guest appearances from Postman Pat® and Jess the Cat on Sunday, and Zak and Panzee from the Zingzillas on Saturday. The area also offers kids the chance to try circus workshops, watch special performances, balloon makers, try their hand at costume making and much more besides

The weekend culminates a parade around the festival on Sunday, where kids get a chance to show off what they've been making. The Kidzone also features clean toilets and baby changing facilities; and for those who wish to camp for the weekend there is also a specially enclosed family camping area for quieter nights and added peace of mind.

The family entertainment continues on the main stage on Sunday with the cast from the hit touring show 'Rock n Roll Paradise' delivering a showcase of rock and roll tunes with Elvis and Friends and rounding up the new additions are UK Americana outfit ahab taking to The Good Time Guide Stage on Saturday.

Other acts added to the line-up include Black Spiders, Goldblade, Ben Montague, Devil Sold His Soul, Invaders, Charley Farley Sunday Four, Nell Bryden, Pint Shot Riot, Street 13, and GuilFest regulars Rock Choir.

There are still many more acts still to be announced for this year's festival and the line up will take shape over the coming weeks - with over 200 performers across a massive 12 stages at the festival.

Organisers are warning that this year is looking to be a sell out, and suggesting festival-goers get their tickets quick to avoid disappointment.

Roland Gift, Tulisa, Jimmy Cliff, Gary Numan, Candi Staton, Cher Lloyd, Tim Minchin, Chic feat. Nile Rodgers, The Straits, Buzzcocks, The Undertones, Nouvelle Vague, Skindred, Beth Hart, Young Guns, The Wurzels, Ash, ABC, The South, Heaven 17, The Beat, Republica, Andy C, Benga, Sub Focus (DJ set), Kids In Glass Houses, StooShe, The Skints, TV Smith, DragSTER, The Ramonas, Tyrannosaurus Alan, Yashin, New Town Kings, The Sex Pistols Experience, Stone Foundation, Rubber Bandits, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, John Spillane, Friction, Subscape, Sigma, Brookes Brothers, Pyramid, Polar, and Crowns. An adult weekend camping ticket is priced at £130, adult weekend tickets without camping are priced at £115, child (aged 12-15 years old) weekend with camping £80 and child weekend tickets without camping are priced at £65. A campervan ticket is priced at £60.

People aged 16 years and over at the time of the festival will have to buy an adult ticket. Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Children aged 12-15 years old at the time of the festival will need to purchase a child's ticket. Children aged 11 years or younger at the time of the festival are admitted free accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
