De La Soul to headline BrisFest at Bristol's Ashton Court

Hip Hop legends De La Soul will headline BrisFest which will take place over two days on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd September at Bristol's Ashton Court Estate for the first time in five years.

There will be 11 stages to choose from at the festival, curated by a diverse range of programmers including BBC Introducing, Jelli Records, Nokia (Wi-Fi), The Gryphon and Remix.

Also on site will be the Arcadia Spectacular 'Lords Of Lightning' show, traditional funfair, circus and cabaret, live graffiti, live stand-up comedy, workshops, kids area, street theatre and walkabout theatre, secret venues, bod and soul therapy arena, and more.

The site was previously the home of the annual Ashton Court Festival, which started in 1974, and folded in 2007. Following the final Ashton Court Festival, the Bristol Festival Community Group came together in a bid to ensure the survival of a community festival for the city, and BrisFest has been running since 2008 at its former location on Bristol's Harbourside. BrisFest has a capacity of 20,000.

A 2-day ticket is priced at £31, with £1 contribution to Aston Court Estate. The tickets include a free "Swift Pass" worth £20, allowing you to queue jump on entry and at bars with special fast lane, extremely limited availability.
