The Killers have been revealed as the Saturday night headliner at next summer's Isle of Wight Festival, happening from Thursday 13th until Sunday 16th June 2013.

The Killers
The 'Hot Fuss' American rockers fronted by Brandon Flowers revealed their seventh annual Christmas song, 'I Feel It In My Bones', at the beginning of the month and have already announced a stadium show for 2013 at London's Wembley Stadium.

Formed in 2002, every one of The Killers' four studio albums has topped the UK Charts, and spawned hits including 'Mr Brightside', 'Human', 'Somebody Told Me', 'When You Were Young' and 'Runaways' which are all expected to get an airing on the main stage on the Saturday night of the festival.

John Giddings, the festival's promoter, said, "We are proud to bring one of the world’s greatest rock bands of the last decade to our small island off the South Coast of England…thanks for coming-it will be a weekend to remember!"

They join The Stone Roses headline Friday, and Bon Jovi close Sunday both as UK festival exclusives. Other acts announced include Jake Bugg, The Script, Bloc Party, Paloma Faith, The Maccabees, Ellie Goulding, Happy Mondays, Blondie, Bonnie Raitt, The Farm, Ellie Goulding, Republica, Fun., and Imperial Teen.

The festival will offer top rock and indie names, legendary acts, and rising stars, on three main stages in a relaxed festival atmosphere.
