Sunday headliners Chic featuring Nile Rodgers are the first act to be announced for The Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul Festival which returns to the surroundings of Moseley Park, Birmingham from Friday 5th until Sunday 7th July 2013.

Probably one of the most influential acts of the Disco era, and led by one of the period's most prolific producers Nile Rodgers, CHIC will be airring a few of his songs plus their numerous classics, such as 'Everybody Dance', 'I Want Your Love', 'Good Times', and, of course, 'Le Freak'.

The festival will have two stages side by side, the second of which will feature up and coming talent. There will also be films, artist talks, music workshops, jazz dance performances, live comedy and spoken word.

An early bird adult day ticket is priced at £35 for Friday, and £37 for Saturday or Sunday, and weekend tickets are priced at £85. Tickets for children aged 12-15 years (when accompanied by a paying adult) are priced at £15 for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday day ticket, or £35 for a weekend ticket. Children aged under 12 go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Family weekend (£180) and two day ticket options are also available.
