The Gentlemen of the Road Stopover is organised, headlined and curated by Mumford & Sons, with heavy involvement from the local community, from the produce sold on site, to engaging visitors with the town as a whole.

The Lewes stopover is the only UK date of the five another with others in Canada (the same weekend as Reading/Leeds) and the USA confirmed. The opening Friday starts at 5pm and is headlined by Vampire Weekend. Whilst on Saturday the gates open at 1pm with hosts Mumford & Sons headlining.

With support from The Vaccines, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Mystery Jets, The Very Best (Afria Express Sound System), and Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit.

Tickets are priced at £75 for both days and will go on sale at 11am on Friday, 8th February and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Started last year The Gentlemen of the Road Stopover are events hosts by musicians Mumford & Sons. They started as a series of one-day, outdoor events in the UK show before the band took it globally in 2013 as 2 day events. Headlined by Mumford & Sons the events feature full bills of support acts curated by the band themselves.

Mumford and Sons said, "'The Gentlemen of the Road Stopover is based loosely upon our favourite festivals like Colorado's Telluride Bluegrass and Scotland's Loopallu Festivals. We want to stop off in towns not usually heavily toured by bands, and celebrate the people, food and music that inhabit them."
