Amy Macdonald commented, "I'm really looking forward to headlining the Wickerman festival this year as I love being able to play in Scotland and I have heard the Wickerman audience are a great crowd to play for. There is always a great atmosphere so I am looking forward to a great evening together."
Joining her on the Summerisle stage will be The Enemy, KT Tunstall, Dexys, Bellowhead, King Charles, Holy Esque, Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire, and North Tyneside's Steelband.
Wickerman Festival Coordinator Helen Chalmers said, "Wickerman prides itself on offering festival goers a truly diverse line-up, so it is fantastic to announce acts that cross so many different genres of music. With Amy Macdonald, The Enemy and KT Tunstall joining already announced Primal Scream, we are confident that this years festival will be the ultimate summer party and we are looking forward to announcing further exciting line-up additions over the coming months."
They join Primal Scream who headline Friday, and a line-up the goes across ten stages including Public Service Broadcasting, and many more. As always, the weekend festivities will be brought to a spectacular close with the crowd-gathering tradition of burning the 40ft Wickerman statue at midnight on Saturday.
Ticket prices are £95 for Weekend adult tickets, £47.50 for Weekend concession tickets, £65 for Saturday adult tickets with tickets free for under 12's. For all those taking caravans or campervans to Wickerman a basic pitch is priced at £40 or £90 for a pitch including an electric hook up.
