Julian Marley replaces Toots at sold out BoomTown Fair

Julian Marley has been announced as replacement for Toots and the Maytals, and two "top notch reggae super stars" are confirmed as the secret headliners for the new Lion’s Den Temple at this summer's Boomtown Fair.

The festival which has now sold out of 26,000 tickets for the fifth year running is offering those without tickets a last chance to buy them when a small amount of unclaimed deposit tickets go on resale at 7pm this Friday, 12th July.

BoomTown Fair offers an amazing variety of entertainment including the full Arcadia Spectacular show, seven diverse districts, more than 30 mini venues to be discovered and over 300 musical acts.

Already confirmed are Gentlemen and the Revolution, Richie Spice, Lee Scratch Perry and Collie Buddz, Parov Stelar Band, Ozomatli, Mad Caddies, Arrested Development, King Prawn, The Wurzels, The Skints, Demented Are Go, Orkestra del Sol, Les Hurlements d Leo, Suicide Bid, The Creepshow, Flap!, Molotov Jukebox, Random Hand, Redlight, Chinese Man, Digital Mystikz, Koan Sound, Calyx & Teebee, Zinc, South Central, LTJ Bukem & Conrad, Opiuo, B.Traits, Mak & Pasteman, Reso, RackNRuin, WOZ, Sticky, Randomer, and Slipmatt B2B Billy Daniel Bunter, and many more.

This is the fifth year of the festival with an on going narrative for around 30,000 festivalgoers takes place at Matterley Estate, nr. Winchester, in Hampshire and will run from Thursday 8th until Sunday 11th August 2013.

BoomTown's Mayor has split the city and given attendees the choice of aligning themselves with their preferred district, and pick their allegiance and choose a district to be part of in this fully immersive festival experience.

Tckets were priced at £149, plus a £10 eco bond deposit - part of the 'keep the town tidy' scheme. All teen (13-17 years) tickets have sold out, a child ticket (6-12 years) is priced at £20, and children under 6 can go free but need a ticket.
