options offered to cancelled Waveform ticket holders

After the cancellation of this summer's Waveform, due to be held at a new site in Somerset over the weekend of Friday 6th until Sunday 8th September 2013, organisers have secured a deal for direct ticket buyers with two other festivals.

Organisers of Waveform have said they want to thank all those who have sent messages of support, and have managed to offer several options for all those direct ticket buyers.

Free Entry to Over the Moon - 13^th to 15^th September http://www.overthemoonfestival.com (Plus discounted ticket to Waveform 2014)

A large number of Waveform's booked headliners have agreed to perform at Over the Moon instead of Waveform and the organizers have come to an arrangement with Waveform meaning they have tickets for anyone wishing to attend.

Free Entry to Alchemy - 20^th to 22^nd September

The organisers have kindly worked Waveform to enable free entry for any direct Waveform Ticket holders who do not already have a ticket for Alchemy.  They already have a few of the acts who were performing at Waveform.

Private Party – 7^th to 8^th September

For any festivalgoers that have bought tickets from Waveform but can’t make the above festivals they will be holding a private party in a similar location to where Waveform was to be held.

Refunds

After finalising the above offers the organisers have no access to further funds right now. They say will honour refunds for those who do not wish to take any of the other options, but those who wish a refund are asked to bear with them as raising funds may take some time.

The Waveform team add, "We hope you will understand we have tried our very best to come up with as many options as possible. Apologies again that we could not put the event we all wanted on this year. " 

The full eclectic line up was set to includeThe Orb Soundsystem and Dr. Alex Patterson, Astralasia, Orangafruup, Zetan Spore, Infinite Collective, System 7, OOOD, Graeme Park, and more.

Weekend tickets were priced at £99, with children aged 5 to 12 years tickets are priced at £30, a teen (aged 13-15) ticket is priced at £50 and live in vehicles are priced at £30, with a car parking ticket priced at £15.
