Billy Bragg is the first headliner to be confirmed for next summer's Beverley Folk Festival which takes place from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd June 2014 held in the shadow of historic Beverley Racecourse, East Yorkshire.

Also added to the bill are Fake Thackray, and Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, plus comedians Mitch Benn, John Hegley, and Sean Hughes.

The 31st Beverley Folk Festival line up will feature Thea Gilmore, Eliza & Martin Carthy, John Hegley, Le Vent du Nord, Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar, CoCo and the Butterfields, The Nick Rooke Band, Michael Morpurgo reading from War Horse with John Tams & Barry Coope, Mànran, Caladh Nua, and Duncan McFarlane Band. A Christmas offer sees weekend tickets with camping available priced at £109 or £89 for a weekend without camping. A concession ticket (for senior citizens Age 65+ or Youth Age 12-17 Years are priced at £100 or £80 without camping, a family
ticket (2 x Adult and 2 x Youth Aged 12-17 Years) is priced at £318, or £258 without camping.Tickets for children aged 11 and under are free. With booking fees to be added to these prices.

Beverley Folk Festival promises 3 nights & 2 days of music, dance, comedy, spoken word, events & workshops for all, Most events take place at the Racecourse, plus others at The Friary and also offers various trade, craft and music stalls, workshops and activities for all the family and a chance to listen to the many performances while enjoying a pint of the specially created Festival Brew.

To provide easy accessibility for everyone, the festival is laying on a shuttle bus service between the racecourse and the town, where it will drop off at the popular spots hosting the regular festival sessions.
