from £120 for the three days incl camping - SOLD OUT
Early bird tickets will go on sale today, Friday 29th November, at 12.30pm for next year's Beatherder Festival.
The three day Beatherder festival takes place in Gisburn, Lancashire, with the dates for this the ninth year confirmed as slightly later in the month (due to the Tour de France) from Friday 18th until Sunday 20th July 2014.
The festival is independently funded and has no involvement in corporate organisations, nor does it receive any sponsorship. It has organically grown from its free party roots and has a musical emphasis on dance and electronic artists, and is renowned for it's dramatic creative site art.
Festival organisers say, "Beat-Herder is quite literally a world like no other. Nestled in a beautiful valley in the heart of Lancashire, the site encompasses rolling hills, stone circles, fire pits, a network of secret underground tunnels accessed through telephone boxes, a working men's club (complete with a troupe of Bette Lynch esque ‘ladies'), 10 foot high wicker foxes, giant lizards made from hollowed out old fighter planes and dozens of stages and soundsystems - some where you least expect them."
Tickets will be sold on tiers with and priced from £95. Last year the lowest tier sold out in 5 minutes, so be quick if you want a bargain
A child ticket for those aged 12 and under is priced at £20, car park passes are priced at £10, and live-in vehicle passes are £25 - please buy in advance. Prices do not include booking fees.
There is a payment plan available, which breaks the ticket price into 5 bite-size chunks, these are automatically taken at monthly intervals starting from the day you make your first payment. (This only applies to Full Price Tickets, not Early Birds).
A deposit scheme is also available, pay 50% of the ticket price now (including booking fees and postage) and pay the remainder by the 1st May 2014.
All Beat-Herder tickets, regardless of the tier, are the same with the same entitlements. All tiers are available, so either grab a bargain from the lower tiers while you can, or if you're feeling super flush, buy a ticket from the top end to give those with shallow pockets a cheaper option.
There are no acts confirmed yet for 2014.
Expect there to be eleven stages or musical areas these will include The Beat-Herder Stage, Toiltrees the dance area, Stumblefunk Soundsystem, Trailer Trash, The Bushrocker Family HiFi, The Beat-Herder & District Working Men's Social Club, and The Lazy Meadow & Smoky Tentacles Shisha Lounge.
