Doctor and the Medics will be headlining the Thursday night of Bearded Theory festival next year on the Tornado Town Stage.
The family friendly festival will be happening at Catton Hall, in Derbyshireon Bank Holiday weekend with music starting from Thursday 22nd until Sunday 25th May 2014.
Organisers announced, "Delighted our friends Dr & the Medics are back to headline the Thursday night in Tornado Town with Hobo Jones & the Junkyard Dogs and supported by the very excellent Shanks Pony and Thinker. Will be a lovely start to the weekend. Dr & the Medics have history at Catton Hall being the first ever band to perform on Catton's soil. (So the Dr said anyway)."

A weekend camping with Thursday ticket is priced at £87. A 12-15 year old weekend ticket is priced at £45, a child's aged 6-11 weekend tickets is priced at £25 whether for arrival on Thursday or Friday, children aged 5 and under are free and Family Tickets are priced at £220 (2 x adult & 2 x children). All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
There will a charge for car parking of £10. A live in vehicle ticket is priced at £30.
Bearded Theory Festival is also offering a unique chance for unsigned bands to appear at the 2014 event. Fans will be able to choose which acts are selected to appear with the Bearded Breakthrough competition offering two winners the chance to play either the Main Stage or the Tornado Town second stage. The contest is open to acts in all genres who have not appeared at Bearded Theory previously.
