Bearded Theory started in 2008 as a fancy dress party with beards for 400 people with bands and DJs, with all profits to Oxfam. The festival is located in the Derbyshire countryside and is a family friendly music event, offering plenty of activities for the children.
In 2014 the event had a capacity of 9,999 and relocated to a new venue Catton Hall.
