Jamie Cullum, Laura Mvula, Soul II Soul feat. Caron Wheeler, and Gregory Porter lead the first acts announced for Love Supreme Jazz Festival a three day green-field Jazz Festival with camping for 15,000, that returns for a second year to Glynde Place, East Sussex, from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2014.
Jamie Cullum: said, "I'm extremely proud to be part of this year's Love Supreme Jazz Festival. I'll be playing alongside some incredible artists and it's going to be a really special occasion."
Also confirmed for the festival which combines a classic jazz bill with a modern boutique, green field experience will be Dave Holland's Prism, Christian McBride Trio, Courtney Pine, Curtis Stigers, Snarky Puppy, Alice Russell, Jose James, Polar Bear, Derrick Hodge, Cecilia Stalin, Laura Jurd, Chloe Charles, Hidden Orchestra, Ollie Howell Quintet, The Computers, and Funky Sensation.
In total expect over 50 acts on four stages showcasing jazz greats, international legends, cutting edge artists, as well as DJs, artist Q&As, a fairground, classic album playbacks and glamping.
Jazz FM's Executive Chairman Richard Wheatley said, "Having so much live jazz and soul in a single place for an entire weekend is a great step forward in bringing this wonderful music to a wider UK audience. We're thrilled to be back again this year with another exciting and diverse bill within the fantastic outdoor festival experience."
The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £125 for the weekend with camping, or £110 no camping. A junior aged (age 6-17 years) ticket with camping is priced at £70, and a child (age 0-5 years) is free. A campervan pass is £50, and a car park pass is £10.
Day tickets are priced at £55 for adults, and £30 for juniors.
Prices do not include booking fees.
