God Is An Astronaut, El Ten Eleven, Tall Ships (pictured), and iLiKETRAiNS lead the latest acts to be confirmed for ArcTanGent Festival, the only festival dedicated to post and math-rock.
Also confirmed are Year Of No Light, Alarmist, We Are Knuckle Dragger, No Spill Blood, Bats, Lost in the Riots, Cleft, Olympians, Shiver, Human Pyramids, Astrohenge, Diagonal, Rumour Cubes, Monsters Build Mean Robots, Blueneck, The Winchester Club, Suffer Like G Did, Charlie Barnes, Memory of Elephants, Big Joan, AK/DK, Adding Machine, Samoans, Waking Aida, Wicket, Sleep Beggar, Howard James Kenny, Super Squarecloud, and Flies Are Spies From Hell
Ric Phethean of Tall Ships said, "ArcTanGent was without a doubt the best festival we played last year. The atmosphere was buzzing and the crowd was just mental. Really excited to do it all again this year!"
They join headliners Russian Circles, and This Will Destroy You plus Maybeshewill, And So I Watch You From Afar, Jamie Lenman, Tera Melos, LITE, Three Trapped Tigers, TTNG, The Physics House Band, Baby Godzilla, Nordic Giants, Mutiny on the Bounty, Mylets, Tellison, Gunning For Tamar, Fen, Goonies Never Say Die, The Broken Oak Duet, Enemies, Her Name is Calla, 100 Onces, Tangled Hair, The St. Pierre Snake Invasion, Theo, Codes in the Clouds, Bear Makes Ninja, Alpha Male Tea Party, and Iran Iran.
The final remaining headliner will be revealed in the coming weeks and a few more bands are still to be announced.
The 5,000 capacity event which celebrates leftfield UK guitar music will takes place from Thursday 28th until Saturday 30st August 2014 at Fernhill Farm, Cheddar, in Somerset.
Tickets are priced at £65. An early entry ticket is priced at £15 (allows entry from 1pm on Thursday 28th August 2014). A child (aged 0 to 10 years old) can attend for free.
There's also a joint ticket with sister event 2000trees priced at £153.
