Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O' Connor has been announced for WOMAD - World of Music, Arts and Dance held at Charlton Park, near Malmesbury, in Wiltshire, filling the Sunday headliner slot originally announced as Bobby Womack, who died last month.
Sinead will be performing some of her hits including ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’, as well as debuting tracks from her brand new album, 'I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss' released next month on Nettwerk Records.
Also joining this year’s line-up is country-folk singer Samantha Crain, who headlines the Ecotricity Stage on Sunday evening replacing Soema Montenegro, who sadly can’t make this year’s festival.
They join Youssou N'Dour, Manu Dibango (presenting his 8 Decades show), Alice Russell, Nitin Sawhney ONEZERO, Mulatu Astatke, Fat Freddy's Drop, Bassekou Kouyate, Goran Bregovic Wedding And Funeral Band, Bassekou Kouyate & Ngoni Ba, Mulatu Astatke, Oliver Mtukudzi & The Black Spirits, Trombone Shorty, Catrin Finch & Seckou Keita, Tunng, Justin Vali & Ny Malagasy Orkestra, 9 Bach, Snarky Puppy, Debademba, Aar Maanta, Jus Now, Richard Thompson, Les Ambassadeurs, Amjad Ali Khan, Public Service Broadcasting, and more.

Day tickets are also now on sale priced at £70 for an adult for Saturday or Sunday.
Weekend tickets - which are valid from the Friday until Sunday are priced at £160 (Thursday arrivals will also need a Thursday camping ticket costing £30).

Children 13 and under can come free with each adult ticket holder, but need a free child ticket. All children must hold their own ticket and must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21. One ticket holding parent or guardian can only accompany up to 4 people under the age of 18. Thursday tickets do not need to be purchased for children aged 13 and under.
