The Sunshine Underground are late addition to the bill for the sold out 'outer space' themed Kendal Calling replacing Ella Eyre has had to pull out on advice from her doctor as she is still recovering from laryngitis.
The festival which hosts Craig Charles yesterday takes place this weekend from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August 2014, at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in the Lake District.
A statement on their Facebook page (here) last night says, "We've just been added to Kendal Calling festival! We've been asked to replace Ella Eyre who had to pull out due to illness. Get well Ella, and we'll be seeing you Kendal Callers tomorrow!! Main Stage Friday 6pm. "
The line-up is lead by ronight's headliner Suede, and Saturday's headliner Frank Turner And The Sleeping Souls. Also confirmed are De La Soul, 2manydjs (DJ Set), Happy Mondays, Miles Kane, Zane Lowe, Clean Bandit, Frightened Rabbit, Jimi Goodwin, Gorgon City, Andy C, Bondax, Mr Scruff, Tom Odell, Razorlight, Newton Faulkner, Athlete, Ella Eyre, Mr Scruff, Reel Big Fish, The Heavy, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Rae Morris, Saint Raymond, Dub Pistols, Jess Glynne, Womans Hour, Findlay, Breton, Josh Record, Kimberly Anne, Amber Run, Gallery Circus, Lanterns on the Lake, The Lucid Dream, Johnny Borrell & Zazou, The Lancashire Hotpots, Aquilo, DJ Food, Cheeba, DJ Moneyshot, Zion Train, and many more.

Kendal Calling festival offers array of performance art, comedy and spoken word with decent food, a real ale festival, the dedicated children's Ladybird Arena and much more, over the weekend.
Last year's the festival sold out in the middle of June this year it was mid May!
