£87 for weekend with camping from Thursday
The Mission will headline the Friday night of the 8th Bearded Theory festival happening at Catton Hall, in Derbyshire on Bank Holiday weekend with music starting from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th May 2015 as the band's only UK appearance next year.
They are the first act to be announced for next year's festival. It will be the band’s only UK show of2015, and their first since the Revelations tour in December 2013.
Confirming their headline show on the Friday night Pallet Stage line-up, frontman Wayne Hussey was delighted, saying, "I can't remember the last time the Mission played an open air festival in the UK, must be around the same time that Liverpool last
won the title! We’re really looking forward to this, the fact that we'll have great bands performing before us will only make us wanna raise our game to follow them. I’m always game for a challenge, me.
"And it'll be good to experience the UK festival vibe again, haven't done that in years, just hope it doesn't rain! And, it's my 57th birthday a few days later so what better way to celebrate, eh?"
Also confirmed are Neville Staple of the Specials who will be headlining the Woodland on Sunday night. Folk star Cara Dillon headlines the Saturday. Joining them on the Woodland Stage will be Polish reggae outfit the Paprika Corps, BabaJack, Pigbag, The Talks, Captain Hotknives, Tree House Fire, The JB Conspiracy, The Jack Ratts, P.A.I.N, and Louise Distras.
