Glastonbury Festival 2015

Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th June 2015
Worthy Farm, Pilton, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 4AZ, England MAP
£220 (secured with a deposit) - SOLD OUT
Daily capacity: 198,000

This weekend tickets for next year's Glastonbury Festival 2015 will go on sale at 9am on Sunday, 5th October 2014, priced at £220 (£5 booking fee per ticket + postage and packing per booking).

Before the main ticket sale 15,000 early bird coach and ticket packages will go on sale from 7pm, tonight Wednesday, 1st October.

As with the general release of tickets, Festival goers will be able to book up to six coach + ticket packages per transaction. Along with their deposit of £50 per person, those booking coach packages will be required to pay the full coach ticket price for their journey.

A list of pick-up locations and prices is available (here) with the FAQ.

Tickets will be available on glastonbury.seetickets.com, and only online, for the first time they will not be available to book by telephone.

It is recommended that ticket buyers are prepared to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale, and should anticipate that they could be waiting for some time to connect.

Anyone aged 13 or over (when the Festival starts) who wishes to buy a ticket must be registered. All registered festival-goers who want to buy tickets will need the registration number and postcode for each person for whom a ticket is being booked.

Registration will be temporarily suspended before and during the main ticket selling period, and will be closed at 23:59 on Tuesday 30th September, remaining closed until after this Sunday's main ticket sale.

Both kinds of tickets can be booked in groups of six at a time. There will then be no further UK or International payments taken until the booking site re-opens on the first week of April 2015 when deposit purchasers will have one week to pay the balance of £170 per ticket, and to book everything else they might need (tipis, campervan tickets, parking, insurance).

Tickets for Worthy View, the pre-erected camp site offering a range of British-made traditional scout tents, bell tents, tipi tents and small yurts are likely to go on sale at the start of November, this date has not yet been announced by organisers.

Children aged 12 and under do not require tickets and do not need to register.

Glastonbury Festival will take place at a farm in Pilton, Somerset over five full days from Wednesday 24th until Sunday 28th June 2015. There are no acts confirmed yet for 2015. Expect something like 2,000 performances at over 100 venues including music, cabaret, theatre, circus, a fantastic Kidz area, poetry, green crafts and information, site art, decor, and loads, loads more ... much more than just the music, so make sure you check it all out!

As usual eFestivals will bring you the very best-sourced rumours, allowing festival-goers to see who is playing long before the bands are formally announced - keep your eyes on the Glastonbury 2015 rumours, updated as we receive information.
