Indie rock legends The Wedding Present are the first of the 46 acts to be confirmed for North Yorkshire's Deer Shed Festival which has tickets going on sale today (Friday 10th October) at 10am.
The will deliver a special performance on the new and improved In The Dock Stage. Headliners at the first Deer Shed Festival the band took a chance on topping the line-up of what was then a brand new festival's run by organisers, Kate Webster and Oliver Jones.
Oliver explained, "The Wedding Present were the first band that Deer Shed Festival ever booked at a time when we were just finding our feet. Five years on we are delighted to welcome them back. This performance will be a celebration of just how far we've come and a chance to offer them a bigger rider!"
Now in its sixth year Deer Shed Festival offers three days of contemporary music and art takes place at a 90 acre site at Baldersby Park near Topcliffe, in North Yorkshire from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July 2015, the first weekend of the school summer holidays.
Other news from the Deer Shed is that for the first time people will be able to extend their stay and camp on the Sunday evening. Music, entertainment, bars and food will continue until Monday morning. With Sunday night camping per tent or live-in vehicle priced at an additional £40.
Last year's early bird tickets did sell out within a couple of hours so be quick, but tier 1 tickets will be available when the early birds have gone.
The early bird tickets are priced at £89.

Deer Shed Festival offers an arts programme the includes cinema, PG-rated comedy, commissioned theatre, artists at work, illustrators, graffiti artists, spoken word, circus, cabaret, storytelling, and more usually centred around the theme.
