North Yorkshire's Deer Shed Festival held over the weekend of Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July 2015 has announced that their theme for 2015 will be 'Up In The Air'.
Deer Shed Festival have announced that the sixth installment of the immersive, interactive and imaginative family festival will be 'Up In The Air' and will explore the infinite possibilities of what we could experience by simply raising our eyes to the sky.
Deer Shed Festival are known for their full throttle approach to the theme, not to be confined to a fancy dress outfit on the Saturday, the theme takes over the whole festival, including workshops, site décor, stages and activities.
Organiser Oliver Jones explains, "Rockets, star gazing, aeroplanes, helicopters, weather, broom sticks, birds, balls and balloons, yes balloons of every description known to man…..
"It’s a rare moment when we get chance to just stare at the vast canopy that sits above our heads everyday, a rarer moment still to explore and discover new things in it. Deer Shed Festival 6 will be all about creating lots of those moments and making them amazing, enlightening and awe-inspiring.
"We want festival-goers of all ages to celebrate the sky for the force of nature that it is, but also to revel in the ways man has tried to harness, utilise and challenge its grandomnipresence. The excitement around this year’s theme is unprecedented. The Deer Shed Team have already rocketed into orbit with the supersonic bundle of goodies we have up our sleeves for everyone!"
The independent festival run by a family for families has a capacity of 6,000 and an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, and takes place at a 90 acre site at Baldersby Park near Topcliffe, in North Yorkshire.
With an ethos celebrating top quality in everything from music to food, eclectic entertainment to outstanding array of workshops and activities, Deer Shed Festival ensure that all the family are catered for. As well as the music the event offers vintage art and craft stalls, kids tent and outside play area, and will have a welfare and first aid tent.
The Wedding Present are the only act announced for Deer Shed Festival.
The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at tier 2 - £109.

All the kids activities and workshops free of charge.
For the first time people will be able to extend their stay and camp on the Sunday evening. Music, entertainment, bars and food will continue until Monday morning. With Sunday night camping per tent or live-in vehicle priced at an additional £40.
