OnBlackheath festival which is now in it's second year, and returns to London's Blackheath Common on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2015 has announced it will host a stage dedicated to magic, and have brought in Dynamo to head it up.
Dynamo presents 'The House of Mystery' is fronted by the master illusionist who will perform a special set at the festival himself, and has picked a range of acts to appear in ‘The House of Mystery’ tent at the event this Summer.
Dynamo commented, "What an amazing combination, music and magic… two great passions of mine together at one festival. It’s a dream come true and I’m so excited to be bringing magic to a festival audience for the first time ever. I’ve worked alongside Love Variety to put a fantastic line up together for The House Of Mystery… it’s definitely a weekend not to be missed."
Headliners Elbow, and Madness, plus Manic Street Preachers, Kelis, Anna Calvi, Laura Mvula, Gilles Peterson will be making a return and will be bringing an array of live music and DJ sets to his Worldwide Stage. Heavenly Records DJs will be back to curate the second stage Heavenly & Friends, and The Meantime Sessions Stage has also been announced and will feature acts including The Rude Vandals, and The Chris Holland Band. The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £89 for an adult 2-day weekend ticket, and £49 for a child (aged 13-16 years) 2-day weekend ticket, with children aged 12 years and under able to attend for free. An adult day ticket for Saturday is priced at £54.50, and under 16s day ticket is priced at £35. An adult day ticket for Sunday is priced at £45, and under 16s day ticket is priced at £29. Kids under 12 are FREE on either day.
As well as the music line-up, OnBlackheath offers chefs who will not only be creating dishes with their preferred local produce on the Food Stage, but will also appear in the ‘Chef Club&rsquo. During the chef’s hour takeover in the Club, guests will have the oppurtunity to enjoy two dishes and accompanying drink showcasing each chef’s style and ethos. Plus attractions including a silent disco, street & fringe theatre, street food, Farmers Market, mixology demonstrations and drinks from local brewers. The festival will also offer interactive fun, games, workshops, entertainment and activities for kids (and adults) of all ages at the festival.
