Latitude announces more acts for this summer

More arts additions have been announced for the line-up at Latitude Festival held from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th July 2015 in the grounds of Henham Park Estate, in Suffolk.

The comedy line-up sees the addition of Andrew Maxwell, Russell Kane, Jason Byrne, Mark Steel, Tom Deacon, Joel Dommett, Aisling Bea, Elliot Steel, Joanna Griffin, Jenny Bede, Spencer Jones, Ian Smith, Stuart Laws, Lloyd Griffith, Fin Taylor, and Tom Lucy.

Whilst the Theatre Arena will now host Chris Goode & Company, Ignition, Soho Theatre presents Penny Arcade, Panti Bliss, Le Gateau Chocolat, and Paul Currie.

Taking up residence in the Literary Arena are Hanif Kureishi, Frank Turner, Matt Haig, Mark Billingham, My Darling Clementine, New Statesmen with Andrew Marr, Kate Mosse, Dr John Mullan, V&A presents Alexander Mcqueen: Savage Beauty, Patrick Barkham, John Crace, Viv Groskop, Poppy Chancellor, Dr Pam Spurr, London Conchord Ensemble, The Wellcome Trust and Salon London, Edith Bowman, Dr Robin Carhart-Harris, Dr Owen Bowden-Jones, The Pyschologist presents Fiona Neill, with Sarah Jane Blakemore, plus QI podcasters No Such Thing As A Fish, Voices In Your Head, The Beaux Zeux, and James Veitch.

In the Poetry Arena will be Jaz Coleman, and West Yorkshire Playhouse presents Avocado By Eve Ensler.

Wendy Holden, Tim Clare, Ben Johncock, Ali Ray, Karrie Fransman, William Mclellan, Joey Page, Sarah Bennetto, Monica Heisey, Tom Bell, Ben Van Der Velde, Garrett Millerick, Nat Luurtsema, Beth Vyse, Lucy Neal, Chloe Combi, Galley Beggar Press: Last Pitch Attempt!, and Linda Cockshott's Horoscopes are all confirmed for the Shed Of Stories.

Added to the acts confirmed for the Film & Music Arena are Sheffield Doc/Fest presents Sheffield Rep Orchestra's Sounds Of The Cosmos, Geraint Watkins & The Mosquitos, Congo Faith Healers, Emile Bernard, Ross Sutherland, and confirmed showings of The Look Of Silence, Do You Own The Dancefloor, and Eden.

The Little House & Faraway Forest sees A Curious Invitation present this year's The Faerie Tale Ball, with Sam Wyer & Laura Drake-Chambers, Samara Tompsett, David Shillinglaw, Yann Allsopp & Company, and Stonewall.

Finally, the Wellcome Trust Hub will host Guerilla Science presents Fire Organ: Seeing Sound, whilst Dylan's Mobile Bookstore has been confirmed for Pandora’s Playground.

Latitude offers much more than coloured sheep and music, however and the first of the other entertainments of art which will include film, comedy, theatre, cabaret, dance, poetry, and literature have been revealed too.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £192.50 with a Family Camping option also available, a teen weekend ticket is priced at £132.50, with a weekend ticket for all children aged 5 -12 years priced at £8. Campervan permits are priced at £39.50, and mobilehome and caravan passes are priced at £59.50, Day tickets are not yet on sale.

Tickets can also be paid for in instalments, and secured with a first payment of £50.
