Twisted Sister will make a final visit to Bloodstock Open Air in 2016. Next year's event taking place from Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th August 2016 again at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire as their only UK show on the band's 'Farewell 1976 – 2016' tour.
This will be the last chance to see the band live in the UK, as they are set to call it a day after the untimely passing of their drummer AJ Pero earlier this year. Guitarist Jay Jay French commented, "Our journey in the UK that began in Wrexham in 1982, ends with Bloodstock 2016! Without the recognition that we received from our UK fans, the world would never have known nor would we ever have reached our 40 year milestone."
They will be joined on the bill by Friday special guests Behemoth playing their album, 'The Satanist' in full, Saturday's headliners Mastodon, and Venom plus many more yet to be announced.
For the first line-up details as available please see the Bloodstock line-up page.
As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock will offer a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.
Early bird tickets are priced at £120 for adults with camping (+ booking fees), and car parking is priced at £16, child (aged 4 - 11 years) tickets are priced at £35. Campervan pitches are also already on sale priced at £55, parking is £16, day tickets and VIP options are expected to be on sale at a later date.
