Beardyman, Andrew Weatherall, Dub Pistols, LTJ Bukem, Stanton Warriors, Marshall Jefferson, A Skillz, The Cuban Brothers, Skratch Bastid, Don Letts, Terry Farley, and The Beatbox Collective are the first acts announced for the 3rd annual Shindig Weekender, held at a secret location in the countryside near Bath, happening on Saturday 27th and Sunday 29th May 2016.
The festival is also looking for talent by running an online contest this year.
They explain, "With this year’s main acts signed off we’re now looking to cast our talent net far and wide to get the freshest, coolest, weirdest (in a good way) acts to join the party. If you think you’d like to be involved, and are able to perform in a secret location near Bath on the weekend of 27th May then we want you to get in touch."
Those wanting to enter must upload a video of their performance to youtube, email the link to info@shindig-events.co.uk, before the closing date for entries, which is Feb 29th.
They are looking for "throat warblers, budgie smugglers, axe jugglers, spandex, human cannonballs, fembots, fambots, manbots...." Full rules and how to enter www.shindig-events.co.uk
