The Mouse Outfit, Lazy Habits, Catching Flies, Mr Thing  (with a set dedicated to James Brown), Lakuti, Ephemerals, Kandela Mi Son, Normanton Street, Wormfood, Voodoo Love Orchestra, Russ Ryan, Sarah Williams White, Children Of Zeus, and Rob Luis are the latest acts to be announced for The Funk & Soul Weekender, a brand new festival held from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th May 2016 at Camber Sands Holiday Centre, in East Sussex.

They join Craig Charles, Quantic, Mr Scruff, Roy Ayers, Gentleman's Dub Club, Afrika Bambaataa, Tony Allen, Fatima, Onra, The Milk, DJ Vadim, Snowboy, Family Atlantica, The Gene Dudley Group, Gilla, Dom Servini, Soundhism, Leftfoot, The Brass Funkeys, Tuckshop DJs, Smartfunk, dOP, Alice Russell, Huey Morgan, Dele Sosimi, Norman Jay, Ibibio Sound Machine, DJ Yoda, Andrew Ashong, Renegade Brass, Tru Thoughts Disco with HarleighBlu, Wrong Tom and J Felix.

Chalet accommodation is on sale at £99 per person and chalets must be purchased as a whole chalet at booking. Self Catering accommodation was available in 2-8 berth apartments and offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, with kitchen.

Soundcrash has also stuffed the weekend with extras including, Live Band Karaoke, DJs, Brass Bands, Music Quiz’s, Northern Soul Dance Classes, South London Soul Train Stage, and Live Brass Band Soundtracked Crazy Golf Tournaments. Associated club nights and DJ’s from the countries finest Soul nights – including Hifi Club, Hipshaker, Soul 45, Hot Damn and many more.
