The first acts have been unveiled for Boom Bap Festival now in in it's 5th year which takes place from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July at Mildenhall Stadium, in Suffolk.
The line-up will be RA the Rugged Man, A-F-R-O, Da$H, Task Force (exclusive reunion set with special guests), D Double E, Phi Life Cypher (exclusive reunion set), Blade (exclusive performance) , Logan Sama, Ocean Wisdom, 808Ink, Dirty Dike, Jam Baxter, Trellion & Sniff, Danny Lover, Cult Mountain, Kenny Ken, Benny Page, Sam Binga & Redders, Cult Of The Damned, The Purist, MK, DJ Rasp, Nolay and Kid D, DJ Sammy B-Side, Skitz, Edward Scissortongue, Mr Key and Greenwood Sharps, Sonny Jim, Jman, Datkid & Baileys Brown, Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, Ronnie Bosh, Rum Committee, Physiks, One Eight Four, Pete Cannon, Disorda, Drae Da Skimask, Team Dreebs, Kingpin, Jeopardy, CW Jones, Callahan, Chillman, Moreone, Madlean, Rye Shabby, Shay D, and Chester P's 5 Word Freestyle.
The site will be decorated by a team of the UK's most talented graffiti artists, and will also play host to a streetwear market and record fair. Proudly independent, and with tickets starting at just £85 for the whole weekend, Boom Bap positions itself an alternative to the landscape of increasingly expensive and corporate festivals in the UK.
Organiser Ivan Andrade said, "This year, we wanted to bring it all home. It's such a big deal for us to have legends like Task Force, Phi Life Cypher and Blade grace our stage - we really wanted to celebrate our roots and give something back to the scene that brought us up."
More names will be announced in the coming months.
The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £85 for the weekend with camping.
