Gretchen Peters, and Mary Chapin Carpenter will headline the inaugural Under The Apple Tree Roots Festival curated by legendary broadcaster 'Whispering' Bob Harris which takes place over the May Spring bank holiday weekend from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th May 2016 in the Silverstone Woodlands, in Northamptonshire.
Acts across four stages include new additions Liam Bailey, Gemma Hayes, Red Sky July, The Holly Rose Webber Band, and Lowri Evans, plus Scott Matthews, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Dreaming Spires, The Lake Poets, Ethan Johns, Sonia Leigh, Danny and the Champions Of The World, Hunter and The Bear, Boo Hewerdine, Thea Gilmore, Chris Difford, Blue Rose Code, Keston Cobblers Club, Judith Owen, Nell Bryden, Martyn Joseph, Ward Thomas, Liam Bailey, Jess and The Bandits, Loud Mountains, Benjamin Folke Thomas, Sasha McVeigh, Jess Morgan, Balsamo Deighton, Laura Oakes, Blair Dunlop, Lewis & Leigh, Raintown, C.C. Smugglers, Robert Vincent, Kelly Oliver, Worry Dolls, Danni Nicholls, Luke Jackson, Frankie Davies, Small Town Jones, Emily Barker, Callaghan, Dexeter, and The Dodge Brothers, with more to be announced.
UTAT Roots will also host a special songwriters' 'In-The-Round' stage, curated by Chris Difford where audiences can experience the techniques behind penning songs from some of the world’s greatest writers including Kimmie Rhodes, and Judie Tzuke.

An early bird 3 day weekend ticket with camping is priced at £166.50, a child (aged 7-17 years) 3 day weekend ticket with camping is priced at £81, a child (aged under 7 years) 3 day weekend ticket with camping is free. An early bird 3 day weekend family (2 Adults and 2 children) ticket with camping is priced at £414., and a live-in vehicle pitch (7m x 8m)is priced at £10 or £70 with electric hook up.
Day tickets for Saturday or Sunday are also available priced at £67.50 for adults, £37.80 for children aged 7-17 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
