Kelis, Maximo Park, Donovan, Teleman, James Walsh, Zibra, Eagulls, The Amazons, SlyDigs, Alias Kid, Sympathiser, and Spring King have all been added to the acts for Kendal Calling's 11th celebration year held over the weekend of Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st July 2016 returning to the Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in the Lake District.
They join the previously announced headliners Craig David, David Rodigan, and Toddla T on a line-up topped by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Rudimental, Madness, and The Charlatans will headline this summer's event. Also confimred are Catfish & The Bottlemen, Ash, Everything Everything, Band Of Skulls, The Hives, We Are Scientists, The Darkness, Blossoms, Rat Boy,The Sugarhill Gang, Pretty Vicious, Hooton Tennis Club, Sundara Karma, Rag n Bone Man, Lightning Seeds, Shy FX, My Nu Leng, Eton Messy DJs, Barely Legal, SYV, Future Wildstyle, Flava D, and Amy Becker, plus a Hospital Records Takeover with Dynamite MC, MC Wrec & Fava, Fred V and Grafix, London Elektricity, Spy, Metrik, Nu:Tone, Logistics, Keeno, Krakota, Age Of Glass, Alice Gasson, Auction for the Promise Club, Beds in Parks, Blueprint Blue, BMX Bandits, Bridges, BritpoporamaIndie Disco, Buffalo Brothers, Camp Stag, Colour, Dave Rybka, Ded Rabbit, Documenta, Dorey the Wise, Dust Junkys, Fours, Gideon Conn, Grumbling Fur, Hatcham Social, Haus, Henge, Horsebeach, Ibibio Sound Machine, Kelvin, The Kid Kapichi, Kismet Ryding, Liberty Ship, Marsicans, Modern Minds, Molotov Jukebox, New York Tourists, Omit Sleep, Plastic Mermaids, PublikSektor, Puppet Rebellion, Riot Jazz, Rosie Lowe, Shunya, Signals, Stay Beautiful Bowie Disco, Teen Canteen, The Bear around Your Neck, The Big Moon, The Crookes, The Floodgates, The Galivantes, The Hidden Revolution, The Lottery Winners, The Mexanines, The Soul Rays, The Templebys, Thingumabob and Thingamajigs, Thomas Turgoose (DJ set) , Too Many T's, Too Much Love, Turrentine Jones, Viola Beach, and Where Fires Are. Tim Burgess will also pop up over the weekend to deliver DJ sets and the finest cherry pie and coffee at his returning venue - Tim Peaks Diner.

Festival goers can expect eleven stages including the Main Stage, Glow Dance tent, Kaylied World Music Stage, Calling Out New Music Stage, Soapbox Comedy, Village Green, Houseparty, and more to be announced.
Tickets are priced at £130. A teen (aged 11-15 years) weekend camping monthly payment ticket is priced at £75, and a child (aged 6-10 years) weekend camping ticket is priced at £17.50. A child aged 5 years and under weekend camping ticket is free. Prices include booking fee. Last year's the festival sold out in March.
